What is property snagging?
Snagging is a detailed inspection of a property to find defects, incomplete work and items that don't meet the agreed standard. The result is a snag list the developer, landlord or contractor can use to fix everything before you accept the property.
When should I book a snagging inspection in Dubai?
Book as soon as your developer issues the handover or inspection notice, and before you sign the handover acceptance. Once you sign, you have less leverage to get items fixed quickly.
Do DEWA and AC need to be connected?
Yes. Electricity, water and cooling (including district cooling where applicable) should be active so the engineer can test sockets, water pressure, drainage, water heaters and AC performance.
How much does snagging cost in Dubai?
Our pricing is based on property type and size. Use the instant price calculator for an indicative quote; we confirm the final price before booking.
Do I need to be there during the inspection?
No. Many clients are overseas. We coordinate access with the developer or agent and send you the full photo report. You're welcome to join if you'd like to see the property.
Can tenants book an inspection?
Yes. A move-in inspection records the condition of a rental before you move in, so you have dated photo evidence when it's time to get your security deposit back. More on tenant inspections.
